Mount Fansipan is Vietnam’s highest peak located in the far north just a few kilometers from the center of Sapa. Mt. Fansipan, a very steep mountain that gets a lot of moisture. Those who wish to conquer it should be in good shape and well-prepared to have muddy wet feet. Once we reach the peak, the scenery is unbelievable.The sublime scenery here can be found nowhere else in the world. Remember to take a camera along.

Itinerary in Details
The night before: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi, leaving on the overnight train at 9.30 pm to Lao Cai (soft berth with Air-con, compartment of 4 beds).Hanoi is the best meeting spot for most tourists since many cheap airline tickets are available for Hanoi's airport, it being the capital and second largest city in Vietnam. It is a very historic and beautiful place, so do schedule time to visit it before leaving on this excursion if you don't plan to return. Make sure you have your visa in order before flying-- you don't want to risk missing this amazing trip!

Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa – Camp 1 (B, L, D)
Arrive at Lao Cai railway station at 6.30 am, transfer to Sapa. After shower and breakfast in Sapa. Meet our guide and black H'mong porters, then start heading to Fansipan. We will trek through Sapa Market Black H'mong village of Cat Cat. At the bottom of the valley we cross Linh Ho River, carefully keep the balance on the fragile bamboo bridge. We start the long climbing upwards. Stop and set up the rent late in the afternoon in the middle of Rainforest of Hoang Lien National Park, at the altitude of 2200 m. Dinner and overnight in Tent.

Day 2: Camp 1 - Fansipan Summit (B, L, D)
After the early breakfast, we make a brief descending before making our way up. From the altitude of 2400 meter rainforest starts giving way to huge, succulent bamboo. At the height of 2900 m, we have a magnificent view down through the long Sapa valley. We prepare our lunch at an elevation of 3100 m. After lunch we take a rest to prepare ourselves to reach Fansipan summit in the afternoon. There will be a few steep stretches, but nothing insurmountable and we celebrate the Success at the summit at the height of 3143 m. After enjoying the great view from the height, we get back to the camp1 for relax, prepare for dinner and overnight there.

Day 3: Fansipan Summit - Sapa (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we leave camping place trekking down back to Sapa town. We will arrive in Sapa again in the afternoon. Back to your hotel, take a then free to wander around Sapa Town. Dinner and overnight in Sapa.

Day 4: Sapa – Lao Cai Station (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, free to discover Sapa. You can pay visits to favorite sightseeing points around Sapa (Cat Cat, Lao Chai, Ta Van Village, Orchid Garden are recommended), or going shopping in Sapa until transferred to Lao Cai Station for the night train back to Hanoi. It is suggested that you are back to the hotel before 5.00 PM to have a meal and take a rest before leaving for Lao Cai train Station to catch the night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on train (4 soft sleeper, A/C cabin).
