Detail Itinerary:
Night 1: Departs from Hanoi for Lao Cai (Sapa).
Around 20.00, our tour assistant picks you up from your hotel to go to Tran Quy Cap station. He will lead you to your cabin on the train.
Around 21.00: Sapa train departs. Overnight on train. Travel time approx 9 hrs.
Day 1: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B, L, D)
5.00 am: We will pick you up at Lao Cai railway station by bus, to take you to the township of Sapa which takes approx one hour arriving at.
After breakfast and a morning shower, continue on 6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. Continue on 2km of trekking down to Lao Chai village of the H’mong. Lunch at a local family, and then walk through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people where we stay for the night. It gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes. Overnight homestay.
Day 2: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Sapa (B, L, D)
Enjoy mountainous landscape with your sunrise coffee, then enjoy a delicious breakfast ready to trek through bamboo forests towards Giang Ta Chai waterfall, cross over a rattan suspension bridge and enter into Giang Ta Chai village which is inhabited by the Red Zao minorities.
Here we will experience their daily life then cross over the Muong Hoa River up the mountain to visit Supan village of the H’mong people. We then take the bus back to Sapa.
Overnight at the hotel in Sapa.
Day 3: Sapa – Bac Ha Market – Sapa (B, L, D)
After having breakfast at the hotel, we start to the Bac Ha market for two hours by a van (AC). This is the largest market in the region, a place where many ethnic groups gather to buy and sell, eat and drink together. There are 10 minority groups in the Bac Ha region. You can buy homemade handicrafts and clothes.
In the afternoon we will have a 2 hour trek to Ban Pho village (Flower H’Mong people). In the village we can have a look in their house and understand little more about their lifestyle and traditional customs. Especially, we can try homemade wine from corn. And then we drive back to Sapa for 3 hours.
Enjoy cooking dinner with Local family here. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 4: Cat Cat – Sin Chai – Lao Cai – Hanoi ( B, L, D )
08:00 am – After breakfast and a morning shower, we will start walking to Cat Cat & Sin Chai villages in the bottom of Muong Hoa valley. Enjoy the spectacular views of the beautiful valley towards Fansipan – highest peak in Viet Nam and Indochina. Go through the village of Black H’mong ethnic minority, see people weaving and embroidering their clothes, keep going down enjoy colourful rice terraces and the interesting waterfall. Come back to Sapa about.
12:30 pm – Enjoy your lunch in the hotel. Afternoon will be free time for you to explore Sapa ethnic market and town before climbing up on the way a Car to return to Sapa.
Take a fresh shower in the hotel before heading to Lao Cai train station for the night train back to Ha Noi.
Day 5: Hanoi Departure
05:00 am – Arrive at Tran Quy Cap station (Ha noi). End of tour
